A warm fuzzie from our Honda.

These past Xmas holidays we chose to head north for our boating holiday.

10 days and nights away in our cosy water bourne home away from home. We travelled from Kawau Island through to Whangamumu Hbr in the Bay of Islands, stopping off at Tutukaka and Whangaruru on our way.

During the trip we had weather conditions from flat glassy to to 25 knots and lumpy.

On two seperate occasions while standing in the cockpit I had absolute warm fuzzies watching and listening to the performance of our Honda 150hp outboard. Warm Fuzzies as the craft powered easily through glassy conditions, and more of the same feelings when punching into a reasonable swell and breeze around 25 Knts.

A feeling of total confidence in the engineering expertise used in creating our Honda 150.

Our cruising speed was around 20 / 25 knots with RPMs between 4000 / 4400 and after 23 hours running our remarkable Honda returned us 10.6 litres per hour.
