Formula Honda is a unique class in off shore power boat racing

Competitors race identical Sonic 1900 hulls strengthened and optimised for the rigours of offshore power boat racing and powered by a stock standard factory sealed Honda 150 hp outboard motor. Identical boats with identical motors guarantees close racing, with the emphasis on driver talent rather than a fat wallet. The Honda outboard motors are stock standard show room floor motors rather than specially prepared race engines. Even though these motors live their entire life on the rev limiter they are still covered by Honda's industry leading five year warranty. 250 races at  6200RPM and no failures. 

Formula Honda is the only racing class that lets you race on Saturday and then fit a back seat and a ski pole and spend quality time with your family on Sunday.
